Training
We deliver the latest training material that is offered by the National Wildfire Coordination Group (NWCG). As current members of the National Wildfire Suppression Association (NWSA), we strive to bring the most up-to-date information that is available. It is our mission to prepare everyone that steps foot in our classroom for the safest and most efficient wildland firefighting experience. Whether it's your first time or you've been doing it for years, our goal is for you to leave the classroom as a better firefighter.
Courses:

WCFT: Work Capacity Fitness Test
Participants will be expected to complete a WCFT at least once per year. This will consist of a brisk walk for 3 miles while carrying 45 lbs. minimum in 45 minutes or less.

S-190: Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior

S-130: Firefighter Training

L-180: Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service
These courses are required for wildland firefighting personnel that are new. It is also applicable to personnel who haven't fought fire or taken the RT-130 refresher in the past 5+ years.
Annual Refresher:

RT-130: Wildland Fire Safety Training Annual Refresher
This course is required for designated positions in order to maintain currency, for all personnel assigned to positions with fireline duties, and for any position assigned to the fireline for non-suppression tasks. Firefighters who receive initial fire training are not required to take RT-130 in the same calendar year.
